At The Slim Tribe, we’ve identified five commitments that have ensured our members’ success in improving their wellbeing! By joining our program, you make a commitment not only to yourself but also to adhere to these five commitments, designed to ensure your own personal success on the program:
- Daily Calorie Accountability
- Members are allocated a specific daily calorie allowance to adhere to on our program
- You can eat anything you want, though we will educate and encourage you to learn how to eat as healthily as possible
- We ask that you track your daily calorie intake (see our application and resources section on our Member Home Page for specific information on how to do it) and submit your data privately through our site to track your progress
- Daily Movement
- We ask that you exercise for an hour a day, with walking as our preferred exercise
- We also ask that you track your daily calorie burn using the applications and resources section on our Member Home Page
- For those located in San Mateo county, we invite you to join our weekly member walks!
- Daily Motivation
- At The Slim Tribe, we have motivational videos with tips and tricks that will drop daily throughout your program
- Watch these videos regularly as well as our webinars with industry experts to stay motivated!
- We also offer weekly 1-to-1 coaching for members hoping for more personalized feedback and strategy sessions (please submit your requests to schedule via email)
- Weekly Weigh Ins
- Weigh-ins should be once a week only
- We have a widget available for you to track your weekly progress through our site
- Member to Member Accountability
- Science shows that staying accountable with others helps you achieve your goals
- At The Slim Tribe, we encourage you to engage with other members regularly by sharing photos, your daily wins, and any tips that have helped you on our Activity Feed
- Use our Member Chat page to reach out to individual members and buddy up to motivate each other daily
